Thank you, warehouse crew

Our warehouse, where we store all our shelf stable foods, sandwich squad supplies and everything else Free Fridge has been around since the beginning of Free Fridge Salem three years ago.

We have been really fortunate to have amazing volunteers that have participated in the warehouse crew in those three years. They've lasted through all the horrible weather, let it be snow or blazing temperatures. They've filled in for warehouse volunteer opportunities at the last minute and they've also signed up week after week. They've sat in the dark, they've stood up the entire time and some of them have cleaned up after our neighbors.

Some of the warehouse crew volunteer opportunities have been filling in for a shift so the warehouse can be open for shopping, organizing, putting groceries away, dropping groceries off, building care and hygiene packs, folding zines, bin builders/delivery, building endless period packs, and taking the trash and recycling away.

We are very thankful for everyone that has been a part of the warehouse crew in any capacity.

While we no longer have any volunteer opportunities at the warehouse, the warehouse is still open for pantry parents and fridge fosters.

Thank you for taking care of one another.
