The June Radical Free Market

The Radical Free Market is going to be held at River Road City Park - 3045 River Road North

The market will be in the pavilion and will be from 12pm-3pm. There are bathrooms, a playground, tennis courts, basketball hoops, and a path that goes through the entire park. The pavilion and most of the park is paved.

You can use the small drive thru area to drop off your things, park and then come back. We are going to have some cones up to block folks that have been using that space to park. There could be a few soccer games going on so parking may be limited.

The Radical Free market is a revolutionary market where everything is free including a meal. The way that it works is that you bring you clean, gently used items that you would like to offer other folks in the community. We ask if you bring stuff, that you stick around, at least in the park while the market is going on. Whatever is not given away, you have to take back with you.

The Radical Free Market is not a drop site.

The free meal is possible with volunteers that sign up in slots that are 30 minutes apart. You can bring whatever you’d like to bring, we have had folks make sandwiches, order pizza, bring fried chicken from a store! You can also bring a dessert if you’d like.
